Glen Cannich Brewery is an entry-to-craft beer brand, developed in early 2023 to meet the growing market demand for high quality, well-made craft beers at affordable prices due to the ongoing cost of living crisis.
Working with a leading beer industry sales consultant, we developed the strategy for how we would best bring this range to market and presented the brand to retailers such as ASDA, Morrisons, Sainsbury's and Tesco with an in-depth sales deck that I also produced.
With a clear naming convention, simple, approachable beer styles and enjoyable ABV % strengths, we were very intentional by design to produce a range that is eye-catching and colourful whilst also being both welcoming to newcomers of craft beer and familiar to experienced craft drinkers while still offering them value for money.
Through our market research and our initial conversations with supermarket retailers, multipacks were clearly becoming a big area of growth for the beer market as consumers wanted to gain more value for their purchase.
I designed and mocked up a range of various 4 beer multipacks, including the single beer packs like the Hazy Pale 4 pack above, and what we anticipated to be the most popular being, the Mixed 4 beer pack that included all 4 beer styles available in one convenient package - perfect for trying various styles & seeing which ones you prefer.
